Oh Deer, how to make this interesting?

I don't know how to write this without making it sound like I'm up myself. I never thought I was until the eighth edit of this page. Okay.

LETS DO THIS.

I find disturbed psycholocial experiments fascinating. I believe in the unknown. The best piece of advice I can recycle is: There's no such thing as a good writer, only a good rewriter.

+ I've been writing for over fifteen years. In the book Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell there's a theory that if you really really want to be good at what you do, do it for 10,000 hours. I may have passed 10,000 hours, but I feel like it's only now I'm beginning to really ripen in writing. Maybe it's finally the season?

But I wasn't a sparky kid, you know. I went through my whole school life thinking I was slow, wasn't as good as others, wasn't smart. Thankfully I realised intelligence has nothing to do with how much you know, but how willing you are to learn.

Professionally I'm a Graphic Designer. You can see my work under the menu link on the left, and I freelance mostly. My goal in design is to merge the two and get into book publishing and design. A combination of book design and website design for the authors is where I really think I could give back the most.

I live, and love, in Melbourne, Australia. I'm in my late twenties. I have a pet cat and pet man, who sometimes doubles as a boyfriend. I read books and love coding. And I'm boring you to death now so go and look at something else.

The Long & The Short Of it

I've been writing for a long time. Whether I'm any good, that's up to the readers. My loyalty lies with George Orwell, Philip K Dick, Stephen King & some real kitsch- cheap romcom.

I'm a Graphic Designer and strive to design new desktop wallpapers for National Novel Writing Month, which happens annually. I also design book covers, websites,

And that's the end of that chapter. Enjoy my website, and feel free to contact me about anything. I can often be found in the Forward Motion Writer's Chat, or in the kitchen searching for semi-not-at-all-nutritious sustainables.
